Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year

Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 are eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year. Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year begins on January 16, 2024. Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Applications for the 2024-2025 School Year

Children who will turn 5 years old between September 2, 2024 and April 2, 2025 are eligible to apply for TK for the 2024-2025 school year.

TK is a stepping stone between preschool and kindergarten. The optional program provides students with an additional year of preparation, so they enter kindergarten with stronger academic, social, and emotional skills needed for future success in school.

1st-6th Grade Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year

Registration for grades 1st-6th for the 2023-2024 school year begins May 13, 2024.

Open Enrollment and Permit Transfer Requests for 2024-2025

If you live outside the Golden Empire boundaries and would like your child to attend Golden Empire you will need to participate in Open Enrollment or submit a Permit Transfer Request.

The application period for the 2024-2025 school year is closed. The next application window for:

• Open Enrollment will be in February 2025.
• Permit Transfer Requests will be in April 2025.
